I'm working on my own realism, but I'm doing it at my own pace. I really would appreciate some critiques, but nothing too overly-analytical, because this is one of my first peices and I am trying to improve over my own time. ^^

Oh yeah! I really need help with the lips and nose, so any suggestios for that is much appreciated! Please nothing like "it looks odd to me" or "it's weird". I would rather have a reason why it looks odd and suggestions on how to fix it.

that's nice, i love the hair! The only thing I could suggest on the lips is to back off on the highlight a little. The look a little lopsided because of the highlight on the bottom that covers the edge. They're also slightly off center. The nose is good, i would put it up just a smidge, but it looks good. ^_^
